Meet Janeway: eScholarship's New Submission Management System for Journals

Modified on Mon, 10 Jun 2024 at 01:53 PM

The eScholarship Publishing team is excited to introduce our journal managers and editors to Janeway: a modern, flexible open-source submission management system for journals, developed by the Open Library of Humanities.

Janeway provides eScholarship users with a much-improved set of tools for accepting new submissions, shepherding manuscripts through the peer review process, and managing production tasks.

All eScholarship journals are now able to transition to the new system and, thanks to a collaboration with Cast Iron Coding, we have even created a migration tool that seamlessly transfers all content from the previous system to Janeway, allowing for a smooth continuation of work.

The migration process can be completed within 1 week and eScholarship support staff are available to guide you through every step. All you need to do to get started is contact us to schedule a walkthrough demonstration and migration planning session.
